Pre-Camp Optimism Poll
Will camp getting ready to kick-off I'm interested in how the optimism meter is running around here. So assuming no major injuries what will be Chiefs record be in 2013?

1. 0-4
2. 5-7
3. 8
4. 9
5. 10
6. 11
7. 12-16

I'm going with 10.

4 of the first seven we win....OAK, Jax, Ten should be wins and then we find 1 win from NYG, Dal, Phi, & Hou
The next 9, 6 should be victories, but I'm assuming we stumble on 1 of those so another 5 victories. (Browns, Bill, Raiders, 2x Chargers, Colts).
I think we can split with the Donkies, but lose to Redskins, which makes 10 wins.

7-9 or 9-7 with a game or two falling their way.

Our defense is not that great. Granted, a lot of it last year was them being on the field 58 minutes a game.

We should win 6-8 games. Reid and Smith equal a huge improvement over Romeo and Cassel alone. However, our defense isnt good enough for any kind of a playoff delusions.

I think our D will be much better than you think. It appears we are actually going to attach the offense, rather than sit back. This along with much fewer turnovers should be a significant improvement in our D. We might actually give our O a few short fields with turnovers.

8-10 wins is what I hope for in a 1st year turnaround from the dark ages. Probably 6-7 is more realistic, and we'll still be dreaming of our QBOTF, with a lively debate next offseason of ...

a. will clark, dorsey & reid extend the smiffer based upon projected growth?
b. do they see enough in tyler bray to not draft a qb early?
c. they all fear for their lives and finally draft a qb early?
