Romo/Rivers/Cutler..career losers or franchise QBs?
Whats your take on these guys? Would these guys be 5-0 on the Chiefs.....or do they make too many mistakes and turnovers in critical situations? Sure, they put up great "box scores" , but so did Jeff George......

Hmmmmmm, I know Falcco isn't in the list, but I bring him up because much akin to how the best QB can be held back by a weak surrounding cast, so too can a pretty under-average QB be aided by a surrounding cast that makes-up for his short-comings.

No, I don't think Alex is better than Romo, he might not be as good as Rivers, but IMO he's better than Cutler.

But Alex is above average, but, so far, not elite.

Cutler had a winning record as Chicago's QB before this year and still does.

During the Chiefs Bye week, I watched football with some friends. One of the guys formerly worked at ESPN and told of a story about Cutler and a staffer.

Just after the trade to Chicago, ESPN was in town to do a story on Cutler. As it turned out, one of the staffers just happened to be at restaurant in which Cutler was having dinner. While in the men's room, he overheard the following interaction between Cutler and a Bears fan at the urinals:

Bears Fan: Wow, Jay Cutler! I am soooooooooo happy you're in Chicago! You're now my favorite Bear and it's awesome to finally have a great QB in Chicago!

Cutler: (Looks straight up at the ceiling and yells) Doooooooooooon't Care! Soooooooooooooooo don't care!

Cutler is just amazingly bad... how can you have Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett, Forte, a heavily revamped O line and STILL suck as an offense?

Jeff George 2.0... and even that asshole never had a supporting cast that good.
