While barely a step above, I'll give you an example.

Name must be similar to coach's name AND have reason to fit.

Exception to rule: Gruden doesn't sound like Chucky, however, there is such a striking resemblance..it's just uncanny. So you roll with it.

Quote:
Main Entry: Vermin
Pronunciation: 'v&r-m&n
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural vermin
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French vermin, vermine, from Old French, from vern worm, from Latin vermis
1 a : small common harmful or objectionable animals (as lice or fleas) that are difficult to control b : birds and mammals that prey on game c : animals that at a particular time and place compete (as for food) with humans or domestic animals
2 : an offensive person
First, sounds like you combined Vermeil and Herman. (Slight humor, at best.) Hermeil has a better ring to it, but at least it references the connection there.

However, when you look at the definition of the word, and Herm press conferences, it fits. He is an offensive person. He appears difficult to control - he sure as hell is prone to emotional outbursts.

And of course, the obvious, you consider him a pest and a hindrance to the organization that needs to be expunged.

Great name? Nah.

But better than GERM...

Sure does. Herm is a germ. He infects the organization with stupid decisions and shitty game management.

Eventually the organization dies from the infection (Jets 4-12).

Be careful what you wish for, folks.

Should I abandon the cause, my avatar can be changed to something even more horrible...a ghastly thing.
