Chiefs set the parking prices- period. Here is an interview from the news-straight from Mark Donovan talking about this last huge increase- that was in the best interest of the fans.

When asked if the Chiefs anticipated to make more money in parking this year and Donovan said they made this change to simplify the parking process and to make it more efficient.

Charging what they charge for parking and everything else is clearly within the rules laid out in the team’s 2006 lease agreement with Jackson County. But let this be a word of warning to the uninitiated: Hang onto your wallet when entering the Chiefs Kingdom.


And YES the Chiefs do spend tax money provided by the Jackson County taxpayers that was earmarked for repairs and maintenance on payroll and business expenses. Total scam.

So the Chiefs set the parking cost and get all revenue, get any parking convience fees, except pertaining to Jackson County Season ticket holders which they are not allowed to upcharge if bought as a package and can raise the parking charge for the fans benefit.

The Chiefs also get all money from advertising and signs stuck to the stadium and money from any tours.
