i hope that this is a legitimate deal, for your sake...

be very careful about giving personal financial details to somebody you don't know...

ask yourself why do they need whatever information they want from you...

a cashiers check for a gazillion pounds sterling and the correct spelling of your name on that check, together with your current address, SSN and birthdate is really all that they need to cut a check...

otoh, if it is real, you are now a very wealthy man...

i'd recommend having your tax guy (if he's a cpa) or attorney contact the place to verify whether it's a legitimate organization that can be trusted with your personal financial information..

and never never give anybody any of your money, if you are the one who is supposed to be getting money from them...

but i'm pulling for it to be a real deal that puts tons of sterlings into your band...

good luck with it...

Be sure to give them your checking account info so they can deposit the money directly into your account. If your checking account has an upper limit, make sure they have access to your savings account, and if need be, your credit cards and retirement accounts. You can't have your newfound lottery money spread too thin.

Anyone got a fix on whether go bo is exhibiting previously unknown layers of subtle sarcasm, or if squirrels are eating his brain?

The get your money to Africa scam and this is the best comeback for this BS.

But hey, this one below - it frankly "takes the cake" as they say. Let me digest this rambling diatribe down into its very essence:

I do the voodoo that you do so well, I have your picture, I will take your eyes. Unless of course, you pay me $500 USD, then we'll sort of skip that whole eye taking stuff - ok?

I'm going to play with them, I wrote back:

Mr Edwin, Orobosa
Sorry, but I don't see any possible method to transmit you money of any sort. I am not familiar with "behind stadium road" - and I doubt a letter addressed to:

It's Long but....funny at points...

Wonder if someone sent out a couple 100k of these so Mrs. Doris Carl gets a nice, steady diet of nasty emails flooding her inbox. Might be a nice prank to pull on someone.....like so....

"Dear Sir,

While performing rennovations of my newly purchased house, I found an antique chest behind a wall. Fortune has smiled upon me wen I opened and found £20 Million Pounds, the equivalent to 6 hundred Thousand US dollars.

Sadly both the marble supplier and architech have lay claim to the money. For now it is hidden under a rock in my yard but alas I fear bears may dig up the treasure while I search for the rightful owner.

My solicitor has suggested that the money be placed in safekeeping with a theird party while I search for the rightful owner. TO that end I have sought out your assistance for safeguarding the money while I continue to search for the rightful owners.

I would like to immediately wire the funds into your account while I search for the rightful owners. If the owners are not to be located I will split the money with you equally. should the owners be found I am sure they will wish to reward you hansomely.

My solicitor has assured me that this complys with all the laws of your country. He did tell me that his is a matter of upmost solitude and that if you tell friends or athorities about this money the marble supplier and Architect will take the money.

Pleased to forward your bank account information to my solicitor Mr. Kevin at rain.man@hotmail.com."
