Do you really equate one with the other?
Nobody is saying it's the exact same thing as a human dying, because it's not the exact same. There are plenty of people who look at their dogs as part of the family, I know in my family I do. Whenever you put time in a relationship wether it's an animal or not, the loss of the relationship can be crushing. I don't think it's too far fetched to see people who equate the two together to be honest with you. I just can't stand the fact that you come in here and point out the fact you can't believe that people can get this worked up over an animal that has died. I can tell that you have never loved an animal and with your attitude you probably never will.

Do a search through any "dead pet" thread. You will see this issue is not a sacred cow.
Nice place for you to champion your right to be a complete prick. Congratulations on being the Fred Phelps of ChiefsPlanet.

No it's just a character, you don't take shots at something like that especially when the person who is going through it is obviously having a tough time. I think it just shows the amount of class you have, which is about none.

Wrong. There are posts here claiming a dog dying is the same as a human dying.

I just can't stand the fact that you come in here and point out the fact you can't believe that people can get this worked up over an animal that has died.

Where did I say that? I said IMHO this forum is open to free speech; that if you show your ass here you can expect to get it kicked every once in a while.

I can tell that you have never loved an animal and with your attitude you probably never will.
Do you mean this in a "Deliverance" sort of way? I like sheep and all but it just ain't like that.

Again, I never took a shot at the poster of this thread. I'm simply questioning the outrage you and others are showing at Sedated, Hog, et al.
I'm not quite at the stage of suggesting perhaps you all loosen up your lace undergarments but it is getting close.

Perhaps it is time for one of the mods to lock this thread, so it can no longer be used as a platform for certain members to demonstrate what classless fucking lowlifes they are.

No, there is no reason for them to censor you Fraz. Disagreeable though you might be it's still a free Planet.

Im not attacking you Im just saying it's pretty low that the guys dog died by being hit by a car. Then you making fun of the Rainbow poem or whatever that thing was, was starting to push it there. I know some people don't care about someone's dog dying and think you have to be some sort of women to get emotional over that. But for everyone of "you" there is 10 on here that can sympathize with the loss of a pet. Just my .02

Pa-lease..

I say keep this thread going but remove the sympathy posts into another thread so pr_capone doesn't have to wade through all of this bullshit for well wishes.

In one sense you mischaracterize me. As I stated earlier I very much sympathize with anyone who hurts for any reason not brought on by their own ill doings.
Of course it sucks the guy's dog got hit by a car. There are lots of things that suck. Does that mean that some can't deal with it by laughing? For some laughter is a natural response to tragedy.

In another sense you portray me 100% accurately: the doggy heaven bridge schlock cracks me up no end. For all the world it sounds like a SNL skit read by Stuart Smalley or Phil Hartman.
