Too bad they cut Jeremy Bloom, his girlfriend is pretty hot. Eventually Mrs. Croyle and Mrs. Gonzalez will get bored having sleepovers and lingerie tickle fights with just each other.

Yeah. I've been perusing a few vike boards and it does seem like the fans are unanimously pissed. Even read this tidbit by Brad Childress.

Earlier this morning, Childress acknowledged Philadelphia was poking around Thigpen as well. Childress said if the Vikings lost Thigpen: “I’d be sick.”

Former Coastal Carolina quarterback Tyler Thigpen was released by the Minnesota Vikings yesterday when the NFL rosters were trimmed to 53 players. At 8:05 a.m. this morning, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed Thigpen off the waiver wire.

Thigpen was the first player ever drafted from Coastal Carolina and out of the Big South Conference. After the Vikings signed Kelly Holcomb as a back up quarterback it made the former Chanticleer expendable. At 7:05 central time, the Chiefs who had Thigpen on their wish list on draft day, came calling.

Thigpen will be in Kansas City to take a phyiscal, according to his agent Joel Turner, no new contract will be signed. "The existing contract that he signed with Minnesota will carry over. He will be their third string quarterback, and hopefully holding a clipboard on the sideline come Sunday," said Turner.

It is a solid fit for Thigpen with Kansas City's quarterback problems in the preseason between Brodie Coyle and Damon Huard. "It's a great situation for Tyler, I feel he will be very successful there," said Turner.

Wow, surprised by this, but not too upset.

I just wonder if he is really a better option than Leftwich or even Tyler Palko who the Saints just released. I kinda liked him

Palko looked pretty good to me too in the Saints game I saw.

Brian Crum Got released in the first round of cuts. He's been a free agent for about 2 weeks now.
