Do you know the guy who can NEVER pronounce ANYONE's names correctly?
Sure, there are some names that are difficult to pronounce but I'm talking about names of guys who have been on our team for a while, this guy is supposed to be a big Chief's fan and never misses a game (where most names end up being said live over the air...except for Sims and Bell) and yet he STILL can never pronounce them right. Perfect example: Kawika...sure, not the easiest name to pronounce but his version is Kee wokkie (like Milwaukee), every time. That's just one I can think of off hand but you should hear him butcher the NEW guy's names!! You know someone like this??? Drive's me a bit nutty but it's hilarious. Rant over, carry on.

I know that guy.
I call "him" my mom. She was asking me about David De Jesus (pronounced as it's spelled) the other night, as well as that German fella. |

I'm positive she will ask me tomorrow about this new Royal... Buckner.
She'll really be ****ed up whenever that pitcher Buckner makes the majors at the same time as butler. |

I had a wrestling and football coach throughout high school whose last name was Bressman.
For some reason... for 4 years, she could not help but call him Brassleman... I finally asked if she ever knew anyone with that actual name. She said, "No... why?" |

Not a name mangler but a word mangler. My grandmother and I would go to Margaritas in JoCo and everytime she'd order a Chimichanga. However she'd say "I'll have the beef Chimanga" I would even coach her like this "Say Chimi" now say "Changa" which she would and then when the server came to take our order it was "Beef Chimanga".
