Dartgod - So how are the dart leagues going? In bowling set my high game at 255 2 weeks ago and this week broke it up to a 258, which is pretty cool. I think we play in the keeper playoffs this weekend, should be ugly.

Gaz - Damn, I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to break 250, I'm sure I will choke if I ever get much closer to 300.
double spare double spare and struck out, both 9 pin spares were pretty good balls. |

Dude, he put all twelve smack in the pocket.
It was sweet. Even better, he did it in the last game, so he did not have to live up to it that night. Just took his kudos and staggered out on shaky knees. xoxo~ gaz has 25 years to get his stuff together. |

Got interupted for lunch... That must have been great to watch. I think the only time I really nailed the pocket on every throw I walked out with a 245, I don't get much in the way of lucky strikes, lots of solid 10's, 8's, 9's and the like.

When it was his turn in the 10th, he asked me "how do you keep your knees from knocking?" I told him to sit down and chill for a bit, no one was going to rush him. Then he went up and threw the last three just like the first nine.
It was swell that I could be there. My bane is the 10-pin. I shoot an out and back line, so if the ball hits square in the pocket it doesn't have a lot of drive left and that stinking 6-pin flies around the ten. AUGH! xoxo~ gaz jealous of his old man.<BR> |

Gaz - I had to buy a another ball just so I could pick up the 10 pin once in while. It has curssed me for years. The worst is when I watch the pin that might have tapped it out get stuck and bounce around in the gutter, unable to escape.
In fact this last week I had the 10 pin get hit and it just slid over to the 9 pin's spot. |

Gaz - So where does your average sit? I had not really bowled in a couple of years so I'm down about 8 pins from my previous average and am sitting at a 197 right now.

I started out with a 217. Then the bastiges that run the lanes started oiling them side to side right up to the pin deck. The crankers are thrilled, but my ball has no finish whatsoever. I have been in a steady decline since then and am currently at 200, looking to continue my descent until the guy dressing the lanes has an unfortunate and fatal accident in the parking lot.

Gaz - The lanes I bowl at now break down quickly and are oiled different every week. I could go from a cross lane hook one week to almost a straight ball the next. Complete pain in the rump.

There is so much oil on these lanes that I have to wait for the third game to get a decent finish on the ball. Until then, I am throwing a straight ball no matter how much lift I put on the ball and the 10-pins give me the finger all night long.

Gaz - This last week they were different then they had been all year, this time the would slide down the entire line and then break really late. It was pretty to watch. My problem is my ball is starting to show its age and I'm not even sure what I'm going to buy next.
