The Vilma/Saints suspension news is pretty interesting. I am of a mind that the NFL did, in fact, privately offer Vilma (through an intermediary) a reduced suspension, because it's strategically beneficial for them. If Vilma does want to play this year, he'll implicitly admit guilt and ruin his chances of a successful appeal of the suspension. If he doesn't, the appeal process has a good chance of failing for him. Works out for the NFL either way.

I'd like to see how the female ref does. I am interested in seeing how the replacement refs do in general

I'm interested to see how much her titties jiggle when running down the field.

We dont need an NFL repository. Whenever a big story happens in the game, someone will just create a thread about it.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought of that, but there's a large amount of news that's somewhere right below "new thread-worthy", which I figured I'd put in here for those who really enjoy following NFL news.

Pretty good QB battle in Tennessee with Matt "Don't call me CassHoleBeck" Hasselbeck vs Jake Locker. I think Hasselbeck gets the job at the beginning of the season, if they start to slip out of the playoff race they transition to Locker. Hope Locker gets 6-10 games unless they are in a legitimate playoff battle. If they do not make the playoffs and Locker does not get a good amount of starter time in, the season is a waste for Locker.
