I honestly have no idea. But whatever the arrangement, the Chiefs can always petition the league on the issue, and I have a hard time seeing the league turning them down.

This looks like a very solid offseason, and I love the DeVante Parker pick!

I don't think we go back to back WRs like that. That's asking for a ton of immediate production from 2 rookie WRs.

Kiper and McShay both have him in the first round. With teams like Seattle really needing a RB (Lynch is gone) I can see someone taking a shot on him.
Just can't see how this guy gets out of the top 40. Early 2nd is latest I can see him last.

Love reading these types of posts, great job by the way!
Let me play a little devils advocate with you though: Personally, I think Charles has more than one year left in him. Plus Davis has shown enough to split snaps with Charles and extend his production for a couple of seasons when that time comes. I like what you've done with the WR's. However, I'm not sure the organization would let ALL of our WR's minus Bowe walk in anticipation of being able to put that position together in the offseason. I like the idea bc we have nothing currently, but I'm just not certain we'd clean house like that. In the end its going to be a very interesting offseason! |

possible, but it's not an absolute.
this draft would be on par with our 08 draft on paper a+ grade. but you're not recognizing how bad our issues are at OL, and did not address it. they are equally as bad as the wr corps and just as much as a problem. stephenson was average while on peds, and cant beat out ryan harris off the juice, jeff allen has always sucked. fisher and fulton are improving, but they are both still well below average. the final result is another year of us only doing 3 step drops, and none of our wr's having enough time to get open. |

I will be disappointed if we don't come away from this draft with an infusion of talent on the Oline. I'm not asking for much, a 3rd and a 5th, but you can't go all cheap on the o-line when you need so many of them. Especially when you consider that guys like Stepenson and Allen will be entering a contract year. If we are going to spend some cash to keep Hudson, we better not leave the cupboard bare.
