The Kansas City Wizards are the best team in Major League Soccer right now. Unfortunately, we also have THE worst attendance in the league. So, if you're on the fence about going to a game, support your hometown team.

KC:
*is the only team earning 2 points per game played.
*leads MLS in goals, assists, road goals, 2nd half goals, last :15 goals, goals to start the second half, shots, and SOG/game
*also leads MLS in first half goals allowed, goals allowed in the first :15 and GA :30-:45
*only Dallas has more wins and they have played 4 more games
*has played the least home games of any club – 4
*leads MLS in road +/- at +3
*has the best overall record and road record.
*MLS best record when scoring first, conceding first, 1-goal games, and leading at half
*only Preki-led Chivas USA is better at home, they are 4-0-1
*MLS worst home attendance at 9700 per
*League lowest in fouls committed per game
*Shots on Goal %-age is just above MLS average and almost 15 percentage points behind leader TOR, who is at an astounding league record smashing pace of 64%. Mo has ‘em shooting straight.
*1w-1l-3t in games where a PK is called
*MLS leader in PK’s against (4) – no other team has faced more than 2

wow....9700 and thats low....that seems like alot but I guess tennis does draw a big crowd

Chiefs season ticket holders were given 4 tickets to 4 games last summer.

Haven't seen any yet this year....

You should! They're one of the few KC teams that has actually won a championship recently!

I meant tickets.

And I wouldn't drive 5 minutes top see the World Cup Final with free tickets, I'm definitely not driving 3.5 hours to watch a MLS game.

I gave my tickets to some Planeteers last year, who were able to take their kiddos......

And I'll do the same if I get more this year.

Wizards games are definitely a fun time, especially if you stand in the Cauldron section with the real fans.

Ironically enough, if more people bought tickets, they'd have been out of Arrowhead a long time ago.

So, the best thing you can do to get them out is to go buy tickets

they really need to be in a smaller venue...wish they were around when I lived in Kansas...

Nope. The talk right now is that they'll build one on the old Bannister Mall site.
