Must be a slow midget news day.
So, they are blaming the problems associated with the renovations on the weather as they sneak in the old, "hopefully on budget" comment in order to soften the upcoming blow. Carl selects contractors like he drafts. He should be freezed. FAX |

Frozen, Mr. FAX.
But why? To torture future generations of Chiefs fans?

No, Mr. GoChiefs. So we can thaw him out at parties, stick carrots in his ears, and use him to hang the guests' coats and hats. Then he can be refreezed. FAX |

That one sentence has the 'prepare for the bad news and its ready and waiting in the wings'. Is it really a surprise though?

If I remember correctly the team is responsible for anything over budget.

Instead of talking about renovations why doesn't Carl get off his fat ass and get Dorsey, Alberts and Flowers signed.

Because there have been a lot of questions about the stadium and construction had finally reached a point where a comprehensive tour for media was possible. This has been scheduled for a while and media were specifically instructed not to ask football questions. I almost attended but my teenagers are in town for the summer and I just can't spare the time for the Chiefs right now.

looks like its gonna be something special. The name arrowhead stays, at least in some capacity. Glad that is settled. it was my main concern, i think. looking forward to gettin back up to KC to check out the stadium. not coming till 2010 when we will most likely have a contender though.
thanks for the video. |
