SceneItAll Tournament: Round 3, Heat 1
Changing things up a little in Round 3. I will present five scenes, and you will pick your TWO favorite scenes. The top two vote-getters will advance to Round 4, and others will have a chance at a wildcard spot.
70 scenes survive as we enter Round 3. I present them beneath the Heat 1 contenders. Pick your TWO favorite scenes from these contenders: The 70 contenders include these 64 heat winners. I show their voting percentages from Round 2, with the most dominating winners at the top. Of course, they all had differing levels of competition, so keep that in mind. They're getting tougher now that most of the Will Ferrell and Jack Black scenes are gone. My votes:
#1 - Sixth Sense. Great scene. I'd tell you more, but it's a major spoiler. This scene is quite entertaining. #2 - Blues Brothers. I don't really think of this as a great scene, but for some reason it's always better than its competitors. Maybe I'm underrating it. #3 - Tombstone. Fine scene, fine mustaches. #4 - Pulp Fiction. He died of dysentery? Wear that watch proudly. #5 - The Dark Knight. I don't get it. Does Batman have a cold or something? Why is he so hoarse? And where's Robin?

It says to pick two scenes, but is there anything stopping someone from voting for more? I think I just voted for all of them.

But if you vote for all of them, it has the same impact as not voting at all.

If you vote for all of them other than Tombstone you can accomplish something though. Artificial vote inflation that hinders an over rated movie. |

Impossible.
This heat is solid but unspectacular in my opinion. As long as Sixth Sense moves on, I'm fine with it.

Easily the most brutal round yet... choosing between Batman, Bruce and Wyatt?
But scene for scene?... Sixth Sense is bringing home the bacon. |

Dark Knight and Tombstone hands down. Shouldn't even be a contest.

I went Dark Knight and Sixth Sense.
Some of the other movies have better scenes I'll consider in other heats. |

Bumping for more voting.
My Sixth Sense tells me one of the movies I voted for needs more help. Great heat regardless of outcome. |
