I enjoy setting my lineup and playing the game throughout the season. Especially when something is on the line, like money.
...but I never tune in for "fantasy analysis" or listen to "experts". The analytical side of it has gotten way too far, IMO. I do my own analysis and decision-making then let the chips fall where they may. My Sundays are still completely reliant on the Chiefs winning or losing. The fantasy aspects come in a distant second. |

It's basically gambling + makes the other games more fun to watch. With maybe a rare exception, I bench any fantasy guys that are playing against the Chiefs.

I did get into it a long time ago as a way to enjoy games that I would otherwise find unwatchable. I found that it took up a lot of my time to exercise my due diligence though. In the end I didn't get enough pleasure to justify the time invested.

they do it because it's big money. It gets old. I play FFL, but I get tired of those insufferable twats who say "well that hurt the chiefs but at least I have Philip Rivers in my FFL team!"
That said, people watch it and it's a $1 billion business. |

That is exactly why I stopped playing FF.

I never quite understood it. I have been in a few but nothing to detailed or it's company oriented. How is it a billion dollar business when you can do it for free? I am asking because I really don't know. Do the hardcore ff leagues require a huge amount of money to be a part of?
