CW: The 100
Premieres tonight at 9/8. Apparently it's not your standard tween-drama CW fare, despite the marketing. It's a post-apocolyptic drama taking place about a century in the future, beginning on an Ark full of people floating in orbit after the Earth has been nuked and basically destroyed.
Reviews appear surprisingly positive, words like 'dark' and 'gritty' are showing up everywhere (along with a few "surprisingly adult"s), and apparently the show shows some real balls as the season goes on. I'll post more later after I've watched... |

Thought it was okay. Better than I expected based on the trailers, but not as good as some of the reviews that I read indicated. Although they did seem to make a point that the program gets better in ensuing weeks. Was good enough to earn a place on my DVR. I'd put it on par with something like Helix at this point.

I liked that the next weeks episodes were more like this seasons episodes after the Pilot. Thats what pilots need to do.

Anybody been watching? While it has had its braindead moments it's definitely better than I expected. Ratings have apparently been solid, so it might be looking good for a 2nd season.

I've enjoyed it so far. Decent story and pretty balanced between the teen angst and the adult drama.
