my guess is that was probably at a point when Chiefs were winning and Royals were getting shelled.

I think it's more local broadcast on kctv 5 (which can be viewed over the air...) versus FSKC. I also think Chiefs games are more of an event due to their relative rarity versus baseball, paired with the Royals being so far ahead in the standings. And probably no few people watching both.

Keitzman has been butthurt ever since the Royals decided to not build a stadium downtown, ruining his plans of dumping an 810 Zone in P&L and preventing him from shooting the lease rates sky high in his Western Auto building. Good to see that he has gotten over it (not really).
