Excited about the Raiders game?
I don't know about you guys, but I am psyched about the Raiders game. It will be a cathartic, redeeming game for the season. We will make our PWNAGE of the the Raiders complete tomorrow, Christmas day.
Raiders fans are all psyched just because they outscored the Tits. I got a Chiefs beenie and scarf for my Birthday yesterday, and although it doesn't get as cold here in Norcal, wearing it in the heart of Raider Nation seems to warm me up. Go get em Chiefs, Kick their S&B asses back to Oaktown!!. |

Why now that you ask. YES!!! Somehow in all the turmoil and rejoicing from thumping the Donks and the lead up to Christmas this game has been somehow cast in the backseat. Just hope the Chiefs aren't feeling complacent come tomorrow.
KILL THE FAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than watching my six year old and my ten month old sons open their Christmas gifts, it will be the highlight of my day. Regardless of the importance of the game, it's football on Christmas day and it's the faiders!

Porter's not, and the rest of the faiders may just mail it in according to Tony Moss.
Oakland (5-9) at Kansas City (6-8), Saturday, 5:00 (Kansas City -7½) Raiders receiver Jerry Porter doesn't want to play on Christmas. Porter told Sporting News Radio earlier this week that he would rather be with his family than play a meaningless game in Kansas City against the Chiefs. He said that no one will be watching anyway, since America will be transfixed on the Heat/Lakers game. I sympathize with Porter's wish to be with his family, but I'm going to disagree in regard to the NBA reference. There are many, many people who will watch a real sport in lieu of Shaq bulldozing his way to dunks and his nemesis Kobe traveling every time he touches the ball. I, for one, will take a meaningless NFL game to a supposedly important NBA tilt any day of the week. Porter had a huge day in the Raiders' 40-35 victory over Tennessee last Sunday, catching eight balls for 148 yards and three touchdowns in the game. Oakland QB Kerry Collins put up his best day as a Raider (371 yards, 5 TD), helping to overshadow the play of a defense that allowed Billy Volek to throw for 492 yards and four touchdowns. Speaking of offense, the Chiefs had plenty of it in their 45-17 win over Denver. Larry Johnson (151 yards, 2 TD) posted his third straight 100-yard rushing day, and Trent Green passed for 224 yards and three touchdowns. The Kansas City defense even got into the act, forcing three Bronco turnovers and sacking Jake Plummer six times. I'm going to guess that the Chief train will continue to roll this week. Porter's comments lead me to believe that the Raiders might not show up, and less than 100 percent in Arrowhead isn't going to get it done. Chiefs 38, Raiders 28. |
