The lawyers in the Seminole and Martin cases said they WILL appeal. They were quick to note that they were not lawyers for Al Gore but for a voter of the counties.

How can Gore concede? His position all along has been there are votes for him not being counted. Can he ever say "I lost fair and square."? Any division among Americans, any feeling of illegitimacy starts with the way Al Gore handles the inevitable defeat. I think this attempt to litigate into the presidency was doomed to fail from the begining. Gore will now play the vicim, a role Democrates in this day and age have learned to play superbly.

I think Gore will say he used his legal rights to challenge, he respects the rule of Law and the decisions handed down by the courts, and that George Bush is the president elect and we should all get behind him. Then dispite both men's dislike of each other, I expect them to have a meeting, Gore comes out and says some things to get his party behind Bush and Bush says some things to coax the republicans to work together with the democrats, and then we have a nice honeymoon until the first session of congress in 2001 where we will be right back at the partisan bickering...

Gore has sabotaged any chance he had to run for prez in '04...but I'm of the opinion that he felt this is his only chance and that's why he's fighting it...his true colors will be shown if and when he tries to graciously concede...there is no way he can save face now...oh, well, he can always give charisma lessons to shell fish...

Since the Chiefs don't have enough wins(votes) to enter the playoffs, and I really really wanted them to, do you think I can get algore's attourneys to appeal to the NFL to expand the openings and let them in anyway?

No more time for Gore to concede graciously. He, like and obnoxious drunk, will have to be thrown out on his a$$.

He may say "Now is the time to put partisonship behing and support the office of President." but he will NEVER concede that he lost this election fair and square. He and his supporters will always say "Gore won the popular vote and would have won if Jeb and HARRIS(the new Newt) hadnt STOLEN FLA." This nation is divided and it is because of Gore's win no matter what the cost attitude. I am not deluding myself into thinking Bush would not have reacted the same way, but when do politicians of all ilk REALLY put the countrys interest first and not just pay lip service?
