Suck My Mock
Pk Team _________ Player _____Pos. _ School
1. San Francisco - Aaron Rodgers QB California i think the 1st pick is a QB ... the money for the 1st pick is really difficult to spend on another position unless there's a dominate player.could be Alex smith 2. Miami - Ronnie Brown RB Auburn i think they go running back or wide receiver. it's brown or Braylon Edwards. 3. Cleveland Alex Smith QB Utah they go QB or RB ... key pick to influence the rest of the round. i really don't think they want Dilfer to be THE man and McCown and harris are a stretch to be the QB of the future. 4. Chicago Braylon Edwards WR Michigan losing marty booker really hurt them last year... pairing Edwards with Muhammid should be a good WR duo for them. 5. Tampa Bay Derrick Johnson OLB Texas should be ideal for their defense ... will step in and replace Ian Gold pretty quickly. A Running back is also a possibility(williams or benson), 6. Tennessee Antrel Rolle CB Miami WR or CB ... might pick Wr Mike Williams. the titans love big physical guys on defense. 7. Minnesota (from Oakland) Mike Williams WR Southern Cal i think they would prefer Edwards... but the last thing they will want is for the organization to be embarrassed with wide receiver problems after trading Randy Moss. 8. Arizona Carnell Williams RB Auburn bye-bye emmitt ... hello Cadillac (but never assume Denny Green will do anything. he could draft anyone here if he gets an itch. 9. Washington Erasmus James DE Wisconsin DE or CB ... i think Washington let smoot go because of his size and don't want "pacman" for the very reason. Carlos rogers is a possibility here. 10. Detroit Adam Jones CB West Virginia a little surprise here, but they have need at nickle. Don't be surprised if Mooch grabs Tightend Heath Miller here. 11. Dallas Shawne Merriman DE/LB Maryland Defense,Defense ... i think parcells sees defensive problems as the big difference between 2003 and 2004. They are working on a 3-4 setup and Merriman can help as a tweener guy. 12. San Diego (from NYG) Alex Barron OT Florida State 2 picks in the 1st round make this a difficult one to predict, but marty luvs his big, uglies. 13. Houston Jammal Brown OT Oklahoma Carr continues to get killed ... they gotta try and protect him 14. Carolina Troy Williamson WR South Carolina replaces the loss of mushin muhammad... TE Heath miller is also a possibility. 15. Kansas City Carlos Rogers CB Auburn if Rogers is there and not picked, someone needs a beat down. Surtain could heavily influence this pick 16. New Orleans Travis Johnson DT Florida State hurting at tackle on Defense and Offense. 17. Cincinnati Shaun Cody DE Southern Cal the interior on defensive line continues to cost cincy 18. Minnesota David Pollack DE Georgia reciever with the first pick and back to defense with the 2nd. 19. St. Louis Khalif Barnes OT Washington Turley is freaking out and the Ram Oline is a problem. 20. Dallas (from Buffalo) Demarcus Ware OLB Troy continues building for 3-4 21. Jacksonville Heath Miller TE Virginia Miller will open up another aspect of their offense for their young QB 22. Baltimore Mark Clayton WR Oklahoma needs playmakers on outside 23. Seattle Marcus Spears DE LSU defense end help a must 24. Green Bay Thomas Davis S Georgia will fill OLB need 25. Denver Marlin Jackson CB Michigan blackhole of secondary issues and resources 26. N.Y. Jets Dan Cody DE Oklahoma unsure about the abraham issue ... cody is similiar 27. Atlanta Roddy White WR need more weapons for Vick 28. San Diego Fabian Washington CB need a secondary boost 29. Indianapolis Matt Roth DE Iowa Got Defense? 30. Pittsburgh Darryl Blackstock OLB Virginia luvs the linebacker tweeners 31. Philadelphia Cedric Benson RB Texas had injury issues at RB for years ... Benson falls into their lap 32. New England Jonathan Babineaux DT Iowa will find a spot for this talented player Last edited by Mr. Laz; 04-17-2005 at 07:30 PM.. |

You think Cedric Benson will fall that far? That would be theft by the Eagles........

I doubt Benson falls, but for the most part it looks okay.

Any possibility that Antrel Rolle falls to #15?? Id love to see that, but i doubt it.

Antrel Rolle has 2 possible positions he can be sucessful at. Cornerback and/or Free safety. unless one of the big receivers fall i don't see how Rolle gets past the titans at 6th.

AFAIK, the Titans aren't looking to trade down. The Titans could use either Rolle or Johnson, why would they trade with us so that we could take one of them? That just makes no sense. |

Good mock, one thing I saw was the San Diego pick at 28. They've invested heavily in the last few drafts in improving the secondary. I'd be suprised if they spent another first on a CB.
