Joe - I'm totally with ya.
I've got a lot of work related items that needed tending to before I bolt for the day, but it looks like they won't get done until Monday. I'm so freakin pumped right now, I'm feeling like I need to puke. It's sad, really, that a grown man can't handle opening day. BUT WHO FREAKIN CARES, I LOVE THE CHIEFS AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT!!!!!!! GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!! |

I've had carpenters out all week adding a 12X20 foot roof to my deck, it's now 12X28 and painted it last night before they're done. Not kidding, they came back this morning to put the roof on and were like "well you would have had to see the look on thier face (s)"

Yep, I'm afraid my work is suffering also as all I care about today is football...
KCMax, no I can handle Arrowhead...maybe you can start on Kauffman Stadium... Jeff, don't need to drive the Miata today...I'll just pick it up and carry it... Coltsinsider,
If pictures mean anything, that is one hell of a roof you put on your deck... [This message has been edited by 58Forever (edited 09-01-2000).] |

No butterflies here at all. I know that the Chiefs are a BAD football team so I'm not expecting much this season. I'm expecting the Colts to blow the Chiefs out of Arrowhead. My expectations were doused when the Chiefs kept the 3 Stooges and did NOT obtain a legit feature back. So far I've seen nothing to indicate that the Chiefs are even near ready to start the season. Before anyone accuses me of not being a fan - stop because I am, I'm just not a blind homer.

I've said it before and I will say it again. The way we play this game will determine our potential. It was not determined in the pre-season. I know they will play thier hearts out, and that includes the "3 stooges". I am so excited I can't stop surfing the Chiefs sites for extra or changed information. It is going to be an AWESOME game and I really wish I was in KC for the game. For all of those who will be there, have fun and honor ol' DT for me.
