What could have been....
Dear Lord..... imagine the lamenting and gnashing of teeth around here if we were facing the prospect of McCleon & Ambrose vs. Moss & Porter. Oh, the humanity!!!
Rolle awaits possible suspension Posted: Saturday July 30, 2005 4:01PM; Updated: Saturday July 30, 2005 4:30PM BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Ravens are waiting to hear what action the NFL will take against former Tennessee Titans cornerback Samari Rolle because of his domestic violence case. Rolle, the team's top free-agent signing on defense this offseason, agreed to probation and anger management counseling nearly four months ago to settle assault charges, making him subject to disciplinary action by the league. "We will wait for the league to address it," coach Brian Billick told The (Baltimore) Sun. "We've been prepared for the possibility that it could be a suspension. But we have been given no indication what it might be or when they will address it." Rolle was arrested after an altercation with his wife in Brentwood, Tenn., on Feb. 15. Danisha Rolle was treated and released from a local hospital for a cut over her left eye. Police said Rolle hit his wife during an argument, but Danisha Rolle never pressed charges. Penalties in similar cases have usually resulted in either one- or two-game suspensions from the NFL. |

There would be no more ChiefsPlanet. Just the ultimate meltdown. We'd be cooked.
Think this had anything to do with why we actually passed on him? |

What is spinal stenosis? Spinal stenosis is the narrowing of spaces in the spine (backbone). This narrowing results in pressure on the spinal cord and/or nerves. Spinal stenosis can occur in a variety of ways in the spine. About 75% of cases of spinal stenosis occur in the low back (lumbar spine). In most cases, stenosis will affect the sciatic nerve, which runs along the back of the leg. What causes spinal stenosis? There are many potential causes for spinal stenosis, including: Aging—With age, the body’s ligaments (tough connective tissues between the bones in the spine) can thicken. Spurs (small growths) may develop on the bones and into the spinal canal. The cushioning disks between the vertebrae may begin to deteriorate. The facet joints (flat surfaces on each vertebra that form the spinal column) also may begin to thicken. Aging with secondary changes is the most common cause of spinal stenosis. Heredity—If the spinal canal is too small at birth, symptoms of spinal stenosis may show up in a relatively young person. Structural deformities of the involved vertebrae can cause narrowing of the spinal canal. Tumors of the spine—Abnormal growths of soft tissue that may affect the spinal canal directly by inflammation or by growth of tissue into the canal. Tissue growth may lead to bone resorption (bone loss due to overactivity of certain bone cells) or displacement of bone and the eventual collapse of the supporting framework of the spinal column. Trauma—Accidents and injuries may either dislocate the spine and the spinal canal or cause burst fractures that produce fragments of bone that penetrate the canal. Paget's disease of bone—This chronic (long-term) disorder usually results in enlarged and deformed bones. The disease can affect any bone of the body, but is often found in the spine. Blood supply—The blood supply that feeds healthy nerve tissue may be diverted to the area of involved bone. Fluorosis—Fluorosis is an excessive level of fluoride in the body. It may result from chronic inhalation of industrial dusts or gases contaminated with fluorides, prolonged ingestion of water containing large amounts of fluorides, or accidental ingestion of fluoride-containing insecticides. The condition may lead to calcified spinal ligaments or softened bones and to degenerative conditions like spinal stenosis. What are the symptoms of stenosis? Stenosis may result in low back pain as well as pain in the legs. Stenosis may pinch the nerves that control muscle power and sensation in the legs. Additional symptoms may include: A foot-slapping gait Frequent falling, clumsiness Pain and difficulty when walking Numbness, tingling, hot or cold feelings in the legs Weakness or a heavy and tired feeling in the legs.

Yeah, he may have that... but in reality he's already been arrested and we knew that when he visited. They don't tell you that little tidbit when they pass on him though....
