1500 yards for LJ this year?
I believe he may pull it off. Considering his limited action the first 7 games that is really impressive.

He'd need to average about 100 yards in his last 5 games.
We face Denver, Dallas and San Diego in 3 of those games...that's a tough draw for any RB. He'll run Cincinatti and New York right out of the stadium.

I was a little miffed at LJ's impatience today. He abandoned where the play was supposed to go a few times and just dove into a hole he saw.
One one play, Waters and Roaf led a sweep and he cut back before they even got around the corner. Maybe I'm wrong but after he broke the 100 yard barrier he didn't do jack.

LJ needs 100 yards rushing next week to tie Holmes' team record of 5 consecutive.
Pretty damned amazing if he can pull it off. |

It depends on how well the passing game continues to perform. If the line play continues to show improvement, Green should have big, big days against Denver and San Diego, which should open things up for LJ. Dallas will be tough. I think the Giants and Bungles are both exploitable.

Too Bad LJ seems to falter in the 4th. But i think the play calling has some to do with that, why are we running to the right?

Larry did a damn good job, but I hope he can keep it without taking too much punishing hits. On a sidenote, KC still needs an OT in the offseason to replace Roaf when he retires. The draft is whee that help will reside unless a badass D-Tackle is still on the board then it's a toss-up.

Update
LJ now has 1108 yards with 4 games to go. Needs to average 98 yards per game for the last 4 I believe he has a decent shot |
