HD Rules
The local CBS affiliate here in Joplin,Mo. started broadcasting in HD about 2 months ago. I have had an HD TV for about a year and a half and HD sattelite channels.
Well, I just figured out my sattelite reciever has an over air HD tuner (my TV doesn't) and I could have been watching the games in HD all year. I almost blew money on a tuner. The most interesting part, I found, is that when I went to Radio Shack to get an HD antenna, I was told any antenna will work, there is no difference. I already had a roof mounted antenna. Sure enough it works and now I am set with HD at no extra cost, albiet 2 months later than I could have. Anyway, I am pumped. |

Football in HD DOES rule
Especailly on a widescreen television. The games are broadcast in 16:9 HD; which translates to widescreen HD. It's like being at the game! Love being able to see the tailback AND the safeties in frame at the beginning of the play. You can't see that on a standard 4:3 television.

I just want to know why all games aren't broadcast in HD. I hate when only some are.
