Dryer not producing heat?
The other day the dryer stopped getting hot. It just tumbles. I've been drying my clothes on hangers.
Any idea what the problem could be? |

Could be the heating element, could be the thermal fuse, could be a bad thermostat.

Do you have stores that sell second run appliances? It could conceivably be cheaper to get a used dryer than to have a service call to fix the one you have.

Most appliance repair can be done by someone handy with tools. I've repaired the washer, dishwasher, oven, refirgerator (for freon stuff you'd need to call a service man), to name a few. The key is to figure out what is broken, and to find a replacement part. There are on-line trouble shooting guides. Parts you can get from a Sears parts destributor in your area or an on-line parts supplier.

Is the hose thingy clogged? I don't know if that has anything to do with the heat buy mine always seems to be.
