There have been a lot of lame years, but to pretend that the 87-@91 cast is not good is just wrong, c'mon. The @01'-04 cast was I think the 3rd place finisher.

The cast with: Mike Myers, Hartmann, Chris Rock, (Farley?), Tina Fey?
was a pretty good bunch I just didn't watch it regularly,.... young kids etal.

I don't remember all the players.

That era of SNL 87-93 or so was my personal fave. Some great comedic talent in there.

The original cast from 75-79 or so was great too and of course fondly remembered because of the great names but they also had their share of bad skits...

You also overlooked the cast of the early 80's with Eddie Murphy (arguably the greatest talent to ever come out of SNL) and Joe Piscapo.
