Who's the best possible pick at #23?

I don't care if it's a reach, just make it feasible.

I was going to counter with Chris Houston until I reminded myself that he's only 5-9. I don't like short corners. I doubt Revis is available. I wouldn't be opposed to Meachem. What did Jarrett do at his Pro Day?

He's a quick as Hell LBer who brings the crushing tackles. This kid is also a FOOTBALL player first. He's got super star in the making potential.

If they want a LB......Jon Beason is much better suited for cover 2.

Staley is a great pick if our talent evaluators think he can develop into an elite left tackle.

Meachem would be fantastic if we are willing to rely on him as a true #1 wideout and the cornerstone of our passing game.

Harrell would be a nice pick if we our now confident in our ability to scout DT prospects and feel he will fill be a disruptive 3-tech player in our system.

I'm not high on taking a CB early when you're running a Cover 2, but Ross or Revis would be fine if they develop into Pro Bowl caliber players.

Setting aside the whole Staley pissing match for a second, I'm not sure I trust our talent evaluators when it comes to offensive linemen lately. Or maybe it's just Solari. Either way, we get these guys with big upside and they never develop. We seem to do much better with known quantities.

I agree on Meachem. Wouldn't mind that at all.

I know I take alot of heat because of it, but I still like Harrell. I think his injuries fall into the "freak" category moreso than the "trend" and he proved with his bench press at the combine that he's fully healed. He has tremendous physical talent AND he's got a good work ethic. He would be a nice compliment to Hali, IMO.

I'm also not high on taking a CB for the same reason. It's a Cover 2. But we gotta take one somewhere because our starters are OLD. So if they decide to do it in the first, I'm ok with it, as long as it's not Aaron Ross.
