They just changed my nonstop return flight from Orlando later this year to a stopover in Milwaukee. WTH!!!? I purchased NONSTOP for a reason. Anyone else had a problem with this on airlines? I have to wait until tomorrow to even deal with the change.

I'll be amazed if it's not fixed the moment you talk with them.

Boy, it damn well better be. Traveling with 2 children which was exactly why I booked nonstop. AND I was traveling with another party who purchased their tickets separately. Still waiting to hear from them on if they got screwed over too.

ya, I've just about had it with airlines and the hassle of flying. I'll only fly if it's a oneway nonstop flight, otherwise I'm perfectly fine with a road trip.

There is no way I will be accepting a stopover with children. There had better be some serious comping in that case.

I think a big, fat, comp is your worst case scenario.

Oh, agreed. They would have to seriously "Sell it" to get me to accept a comp right now. If I was traveling alone I wouldn't be all that upset.
You are on post 6666 dude.

I have a late April flight from Fort Lauderdale to KC that got switched from direct to a Milwaukee stop.
I only get home 1 hour later but it still pisses me off. If that was the case when I booked it I wouldn't have picked it. If they want to cut flights they should cut the one's that aren't booked yet. I too am flying Midwest. |

Back in August I had a 9AM flight to Vegas delayed 3 times, then they changed planes and I didn't have a seat on that plane (which was taking off at 1pm). So I heard over the loud speaker ''anybody without a seat on flight ''''', please go to gate '''' immediately. I pulled an OJ Simpson to get over to that gate and was first in line. they offered me first class on a 4pm direct flight, plus a $600 travel voucher that's good for a year. I was happy in the end.
