Man ... Taxes suck
i mean paying money to anyone sucks but the whole process of paying Taxes sucks.
the forms, the deadline the stupid little Line 7a see line 8b, subtract from line 10, add to line 5,9,10,10 see table 25 ..... seriously ... could they think of a more fugged up way to make you jump through hoops and make giving them money more painful Last edited by Mr. Laz; 03-31-2008 at 02:51 PM.. |

I picked April 15th to get a colonoscopy. I am going to take it in the ass twice that day.

Taxact allows you to do a little bit more with their basic package than turbotax does. Turbo requires you to upgrade to a pay package if you have any long or short term gains. Taxact is still free on those.

I wish I could use this method to collect money from my customers. Give them a lengthy complicated form so they can figure up what they owe me, and if they screw it up then I get to charge them more.

I usually come close to breaking even come tax time. I did my taxes in the beginning of February you slacker!
I got a whopping $83 back from the beautiful Federal Government, and $486 back from that shit hole of the universe, NJ. |

How the hell did you get a bigger refund from the state than the Federal? Usually it's the other way around.

I balanced out almost perfectly. Refund from fed and owe state almost the exact same as what fed is sending me. PERFECT

It's really bad, but at least April 15th won't be as bad this year. I'm getting back a decent refund, whereas last year .... last year... (sniff) I still can't talk about it.
