Wireless keyboard/mouse recommendations
My Microsuck 6000 keyboard tanked on me last night, so I'm on the market for a new one. I was generally unhappy with the old one even before it quit working, the range was crappy and it lagged.
Does anybody use wireless keyboard/mouse that they actually like? |

I had a rechargable mouse and a battery only mouse. I will never go back to the battery only mouse. It always disconnected and it ran through batteries like crazy.
I've had good experiences with the logitech brand. |

Looks like the 7000's and 8000's feature the rechargeable mouse. They're pricy though, but at this point I don't care.

The 8000 is backlit. Looks pretty cool, but it is expensive.

Logitech MX Revolution for the mouse. Love it.

Are they comfortable? It looks downright uncomfortable.

Go bluetooth. I have the rocketfish combo and love it. But they discontinued that for a new BT keyboard without the mouse.
Thing I love most is that, with it's range, and the media player buttons on the mouse, I can control [well start, next, previous and pause really, unless the computer is in my line of sight] my music/podcasts from anywhere in the house. Plus the BT emitter can be used with any other BT peripherals, printer, phone, headphones, etc.

$64.00 for a keyboard and mouse that will work ANYWHERE you need it to. I've purchased 2 of these, one for my MCPC and one for a friend's, and they have been nothing but wonderful. |

Very cool. I totally understand that. I'm glad you like it.
I've poked around a few times at new keyboard/mouse combos. It appeared to me at the time that they were all trying to one-up eachother in terms of benefits/style whatever. I didn't look too far, but it seemed I couldn't fine one that wasn't made at the cheapo depot that didn't have a load of crap I didn't want or found annoying. Posted via Mobile Device |
