Chiefsplanet.com SEO issues

I did some research on Chiefsplanet for shits and grins... and the site by itself is fairly potent as obscure posts and threads actually rank really high.

However... type in Kansas City Chiefs Message Board

or Chiefs Message Board. Or Kansas City Chiefs Forum... etc... NOTHING.

This can easily be remedied... so whoever is in charge of that, i can tell you what the best things to say and where to gain that additional traction.

Just a friendly service announcement

Ari,
Could you suggest some good literature, ie books, websites, etc, to visit that would help me self educate on different ways to optimize and seo a website I want to develop? I've researched some, but most that i find (websites) are so full of fluff they don't get down to the nuts and bolts of the process.
Thanks

I'm not sure how much effort I'm willing to put into it, but if you can give me concrete suggestions, I'll try to implement them when I can. Some of it may be in Kyle country, though.
