Free iPhone ringtones
I am trying to make free custom ringtones for my iPhone 3G. I've done it before, but it was a long time ago. I followed the instructions I found online (Make aac version, trim it down, change the file extension to m4r, etc.) The ringtones now show up under "ringtones" in iTunes, but they don't show up on my phone. I have checked to make sure I am opting to sync ringtones and I am.

Anyone else have a similar problem? Please help. I really need to get back to wowing everyone with my clever and original ringtones. This Old Phone ring bullshit isn't cutting it.

There should be apps on the iphone to do that.


Or you could something like phonezoo or myxer.

I make them through I Tunes on my Mac all the time.I probably have 400 or so on my Bold that I made from music I've added over the years.

Kysir, I've been trying to solve this problem for months. I think the trick is to click the ringtones tab once you've connected your phone. Select synch all ringtones, and you should be good to go.

I think they changed iTunes a while back in a way that I didn't process. Glad I'm not the only one.
