Nice throw. Now if he can make those on game day he might be able to pull himself out of the gutter in the eyes of Chiefs (and NFL) fans.

Kinda like Donnie Edwards. He had the Wheatley run and never recovered in the eyes of Chiefs fans. Even though he was one of the best in the league year in and year out. Once the witch hunt starts, that player is snake bit from then on in the minds of these simpletons. That pass was completed not because it was a miracle he can throw it that far, but because he had time to let it develop. IMO there has never been any question about how far he can throw it. Its simply the new drum the simpletons are banging. I dont subscribe to the simpletons. |

If Cassel is that guy, do you think his play last year showed that he's capable of being that good? I sure as hell don't think so. He's also not a rookie. He doesn't have much potential. He's just not that good. We hope he's that guy. We root for him to do well on gameday. But we know it's simply not going to happen. |

Thats my point. Everyone has an opportunity/choice to show how they carry themselves. You can either evaluate the team, form an opinion, ,then proceed to make an ass of yourself pissing and moaning about everything you can think of. Or you can evaluate the team, form an opinion, and try to look at some of the positives and enjoy some of them. There are things that I get frustrated with. Things I thing were poor decisions. Play calls that are boneheaded in my opinion. I see mistakes by more than just one player. But I choose not to wish death on the family of the QB because he fumbled. I choose not to show my ass. I remember that Im in public. I have managed people most of my adult life. I have never seen telling someone they are a piece of shit and constantly grinding on them ever produce anything positive. So what is the benefit of it? There is nothing to gain and maybe even something to lose. I choose not to play when the stakes are break even or lose. Besides, if a person is soo pissed of they have to make 1000 posts on a single player to convince the masses how much they despise the Chiefs organization, I would quit watching. I have enough shit on my plate that I dont need to look far to find something to be disappointed about. I wouldnt watch a game that I obviously get 0 enjoyment out of. I just get tired of the axe grinding. In the end, some of us will watch the games and enjoy it. Some of us will watch the games and not find anything to enjoy. Then the rest will make it a witch hunt, where they spend thier Chiefs experience jumping up and down stomping thier feet and torturing themselves and anyone who is willing to be tortured by them. I dont subscribe to that. |

Hey... I assumed this about a play against the Eagles. That was "defended" by some Chief in shorts....

Again, it wasn't as pronounced, but it was something of a double move...something that could be very effective as long as defenses crowd the front 10 yards to cut off screens, quick hitters, slants, and other drop-offs.

That was an impressive pass. Not a moon shot at all. Really.
Hopefully he starts to give us a few of those in real games this year! |
