How much did you spend on your Christmas tree?
I dropped 125 this year, that’s the most I’ve spent (outside Hawaii) for a tree. These holidays are getting rather expensive.

I have a 2 foot fake one that I bought 9 years ago. It's still doing the trick.

Nada. A crap, that's a lie. I think we picked up a secondary tree at a thrift store for $7.

$300 last year, but it's a fake one. I have no desire to mess with real trees, and our living room has a 15' vaulted ceiling, so the little tiny ones looked pretty silly in there.
Hopefully I won't have to buy another tree for a decade or so. |

0, nadda. We haven't put up a tree in 15 years, and no decorations at all this year.
It is just us, and we always go back to Wichita for the Holidays, so we don't bother. When we had kids at home, we decorated to the limit, then it tapered down over the years to the current, nothing. |

You don't have to break an ankle putting it back in the attic. (my wife really did that) But with children, it is a fun thing to do together, and enjoy together. Mine still talk about those big bulbed blue lights I used to trim the entire house with each year. |

My wife loves to decorate the house so we currently have lights, snowmen and garlands everywhere. I enjoy the lights. I imagine that we will do this even after the boys move out. |
