Got My MU-KU Tix Today
There was a story in the paper today that pre-sale for Jackson County residents was today at 10am at the Stadium or Ticket Master. Went to a Ticket Master out here in Lenexa by where I work. I live in Independence, so I took a Jackson County Tax receipt and my drivers license and had no problems. Got 8 seats about 15 rows up around the 10 yardline. So it's ON...bring on the beakers!
BTW: Ticketmaster is a real racket. They made about $80 on me just on the transaction. How come there's no competition for ticket services? Oh well, bring on Thanksgiving weekend! |

Why? Besides the obvious of wanting to see the Chiefs play.

Is this the final KU-MU Arrowhead game or did they renew the deal?

The only other alternative would be to move the game to earlier in the season.
That's how rivalry games really work. Season's like 07-08 are rare when both sides of a rivalry are near the top of the standings. It would be better to open the conf season at Arrowhead. Otherwise, put it on campus. Really no better place for college football than Mt. Oread, no reason to have fewer games there. |

The games are better on campus.
For a Kansas football fan there's no better place than our home field to enjoy the gameday experience. I'm sure MU fans feel the same way. Like I said earlier though, I think the game should be moved to earlier in the year ala Colo-Col St. |
