2013 Free Agents
Who is anticipated to be available? I know it's impossible to know for sure.
I know Joe Flacco's going to get franchised. Do you see any on this list that you'd like to see with the Chiefs next year? Matt Moore (QB) Tarvaris Jackson (QB) Reggie Bush (RB) Franchised? Felix Jones (RB) Shonn Greene (RB) Danny Woodhead (RB) Greg Jennings (WR) Franchised? Mike Wallace (WR) Wes Welker (WR) Danny Amendola (WR) Can't imagine Rams letting him go. Tony Gonzalez (TE) Yeah, I know. Brent Grimes (CB) Ed Reed (S) Also, a lot of people think Ray Lewis is going to get cut this offseason. I know there's a lot more there. My plan would be to re-sign Bowe/Albert and make a push for one of the other WR's. I'd also be interested in Lewis to help lead our defense. But I'm just throwing stuff out there right now. |

Matt Moore is an ideal backup. GTFO Cassel and Quinn.

Felix Jones probably won't be re-signed. I'd take him here as a #2 behind Charles and having that much speed at RB would be awesome.

Why is this even being discussed ?
Little Hunt left >$20 mil unspent in 2012 salary cap dollars, 2nd most of ANY team. Why expect different in 2013...... SERIOUSLY. Waste of time IMO. |

I believe it's a four year average (89% of salary cap, I believe), so technically teams can go well under that in one year if they want--but it comes out to spending an average of at least $107M of $120M per year (adjust for annual increases) over four years. So, yes, I think it's safe to say that we'll be spending more money in future years... |

I'd sure love to give Greg Jennings as a belated Christmas gift to Geno Smith. But yeah, he's probably not getting out of GB.
Moore is a good backup. Jackson could be compatible with Geno in terms of mobility and keeping the offense identical. Agreed on Jones... |

Man there are some great recieving options on that list. I would be happy to grab any one of them as long as we didn't overpay them( especially Welker).

Matt Moore would be a great back up. Sign Wallace and Felix jones to go with Charles speed oh that would scare defenses.

It would be ideal to get a WR/CB in FA, and hit the other in the 2nd round.

There should be a good crop of CB's this year at the end of the 1st (shouldn't cost much to move up) start of the 2nd...
