What is the best Music Review site?
I was just wondering if there was a rotten tomatoes style site for Music Albums? Something that compiles average scores or something.

Yeah, I don't find the stars as useful as reading the reviews.

I just use Amazon, but allmusic.com compiles user reviews too. I don't know where you can find any kind of averaged pro review.

I don't know your taste, but if you like indie music, I'm partial to pitchfork.com.
It's not an aggregate like RT, but they do a nice job of reviewing. A bonus is that they have a spotify app (if you use it) where you can read the reviews as you listen to the albums.

I was wondering this too. It's sometimes difficult to compare an artist's albums (by reviews) because some different sites have different albums.

None. There is no good large compendium for music reviews. Pitchfork's reviews make me want to turn into a pile of dust.

Of course you hate you some Pitchfork, but I still think that it's a legitimate place to get exposed to a bunch of the currently relevant music from various genres.

I get this through the Pitchfork playlists on Songza. All the selection and none of the hipster barf inducing reviews.

Unfortunately, it's hard to take Pitchfork seriously when they have a habit of retroactively changing their reviews to fit the current cultural perspective.
