Tell me about Springfield, Mo
Recently, there has been some talk with my employer about a position opening up in our Springfield office. This would be a slight pay increase...I am just curious if it would be worth the transfer. There is more opportunity to grow in the new position...however, I am happy with where I am and what I am doing.
So...curious...tell me about Springfield. I grew up in Olathe...currently reside in Spring Hill. What are the 'nice' areas of Springfield...and the areas to avoid? |

I'd avoid the area south of Bolivar, and North of Arkansas.

It takes about an hour and a half to get from Springfield to Joplin and another 2 hours to get to Tulsa using I44

Basically, it's people from Arkansas that couldn't hold a job, so they decided to head to KC for work but ran out of gas money so they just settle in Springfield
