The worst team in the AFC West all time, San Diego, is tied with the best team in the AFC West all time, Oakland, with 15 AFC West/AFL Western Division titles, with 15 a piece.

The Broncos come in 3rd with 12, and the Chiefs bring up the rear with 8.

Kansas City leads the AFC West with 8 Wild Card births.

San Diego has the least, with 2.

I guess I am a bad Chiefs fan, but do we really only have 8 all time playoff wins?

Remember when the Chargers were a dumpster fire back in the early 2000's? I remember feeling so bad for them and wondering what it would feel like to be a fan of such a shitty franchise.

Well, the Chiefs have been that and worse since the middle 2000's. The thought just hit me and it feels really weird reflecting on it.

Watch out San Diego. You are one five-win season from being sub-500.

And we better not go 0-16.

Technically, even if we finished 5-11, we wouldn't be under .500 in victory percentage. (Same thing with 5-10-1, 5-9-2, etc.) Ties act the same as losses as far as that is concerned, right?

404-388-12 would turn into 409-399-12.

I don't think ties count as loses in this case. I thought ties never count towards win-loss percentages?

For the record, the Seahawks are 289 - 312 (9-12 playoffs).

The Raiders lead the division with 4 Championships. Chiefs are in 2nd with 3, Broncos have 2, and Chargers have 1.

Out of those, 1 Raiders, 2 Chiefs, and 1 Chargers championships were of the AFL variety.
