Sandblasting
I've got a small unit for smaller parts, but I'm wanting to get a jeep frame media blasted sometime in the next couple of months. Do any of you do this in or around the KC area, or know a good person that does? Also looking for a general idea of the cost. Thanks

If you have someplace to do it buy a cheap soda blaster. Should save you some coin.

Thats not much surface area. I would use sand for both. soda is great for sheet metal parts. I have use walnuts, pecans, 3 different grades of sand and soda.

My Dad had a sandblaster, but it was smaller. I liked putting on the moon suit gloves and working on stuff. Sorry I know that doesn't really help you out any.

Try the soda blaster from eastwood. Worth the price!
http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-soda-blaster.html I own it and http://www.texasblaster.com/ Both are far superior to their counterparts.
