Student Faces 70 Charges for Photo Prank

You have got to be kidding me. Says they have an ankle bracelet on him now. Yeah, I am sure he is such a flight risk that they needed that. Everyone involved in the prosecution of this kid is a bunch of idiots.

Authorities in Arizona said Tuesday a high school football player was arrested after learning the teen had exposed himself in a team picture for the school’s yearbook.

Mesa police said Hunter Osborn, 19, was dared by a teammate to expose his penis when the team photo was taken on the school bleachers. The photo was put into the Red Mountain High School yearbook and the team program.

Authorities said the yearbook was given out to students and faculty before school officials were aware of the graphic photo.

Osborn, who was 18 at the time the photo was taken, faces 69 counts of indecent exposure based on the students and staff who were present at the time the picture was taken. Mesa Police Department spokesman Steve Berry told The Arizona Republic Osborn faces one other count of furnishing harmful items to minors.

“The district is dismayed by the actions of the students involved in the photograph. Their behavior does not reflect the values of Red Mountain High School or Mesa Public Schools,” Mesa Public Schools spokeswoman Helen Hollands said in a statement.

Hollands said the yearbook has been recalled to edit the photo.

Osborn was ordered to wear an ankle monitoring device, according to Fox 10 Phoenix. He's due in court for a preliminary hearing on May 20.

A petition has surfaced on Change.org, demanding that the teacher overseeing the yearbook be fired.

“(Osborn) didn't put the picture in the yearbook, he didn't create the page, he wasn't the editor that approved it, or the teacher responsible for publishing it and distributing it to students,” the petition reads. “The teacher responsible for the yearbook should be fired.”

As of early Wednesday, the petition had more than 2,000 signatures.

Good grief. I'd be in prison if I had to go through today's absurd school rules.

This This This! We did all kinds of shit like this back in the day. Things that would be considered incredibly unacceptable today. Like the time we switched all the dorm room peep holes on the girls side of the dorm so you could look in rather than out. LOL. Now that would get us suspended. Back then we had to go to one hour of community service (where we got drunk).

I suspect you only do it if you're the 1 in 10.

That's a fair point. The world is lucky I don't have a 6" softy. I'd be whipping that thing out to show off at every opportunity.

How do we know this wasn't an accident? It can happen. True story, me and my wife(girlfriend) at the time were at Kings Island back in 1978. I was wearing my best cut off jeans and they kind of were a little too short for 1978 but hey they worked when standing. So we were sitting down having lunch and minding our own business and she notices people staring at us, didn't think much of it. Well she gets up to throw away lunch trash and bam, my junk was hanging out for all to see. Moral of the story, no cutoff jeans and stretched out tidy whiteys from that day in history.

I actually had that happen once, too. I was at a tennis social, and was sitting at a table between matches chatting with some people. I glanced down and somehow a testicle had made its way to freedom outside my relatively short shorts (which were in style at the time, I should add).
