If guys like Eli and Stafford deserve a tier 2 designation, so does Alex Smith
It just easy to overlook him because he lacks the sexy arm, but Manning doesnt exactly possess a cannon either And in spite of his arm, Stafford has yet to win a playoff game |

But I agree; I'd take Smith over Stafford and Eli in a heartbeat. I'd take him ahead of Flacco as well.

In that case, you better put Foles in tier 2 as well. He had a really great season once too. I guess that you have forgotten how the Giants were about to fire Coughlin, then the team got hot and won it all? Eli has never been consistently good. He just got hot at the right time.

Yet they couldn't make the playoffs in that weak division? How the hell is that possible if Eli is soooooo good? I'm just not an Eli fan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the three years since Smith has been in KC he's had a better passer rating, better completion percentage and better adjusted yards per attempt. Eli Manning is overrated as hell. He's a braindead chucker who now has the good fortunate of getting to throw the ball to Odell Beckham Jr. He's also due for another one of those patented 20+ interception season that he seems to throw up every 3 years or so. No, I would not take Eli Manning over Alex Smith. Then again, you flogged yourself to Joe Flacco for years so your fascination with Manning is to be expected.
