Chiefs What Away Games are you Attending?

Anyone heading to any away games this year?

My wife and I have made it a yearly tradition to attend at least one away game. Last year we attended the Dallas and New England games, and have been to Green Bay, Indianapolis, Denver, and Arizona as well.

This year we're going to one we might actually win – Cleveland.

I've got several college friends in Cleveland and have an office there, so it'll be convenient. The tickets are unbelievably cheap as well. We managed to secure Row 1 behind the Chiefs bench for less than $130 a ticket. Unreal.

Got lower level tickets to Chiefs/Broncos in Denver. If any CPers wanna meet up and tailgate before hand then let me know

How much were those tickets? I'm looking to attend that game but ticket prices are ludicrous.

It was $350 per ticket. Figured if I have to go in that shitwhole of a stadium with their shitwhole fans then I better get solid seats.

Chargers, Steelers, Pats, and probably Seahawks.

I'd like to go back to Oakland but after having gotten attacked last year at the Coliseum, probably not worth dying.

Yes. With the NHL in town now too, I am sure a lot of trip agencies will take advantage of sports fans, but hell, I’ll be game! UNLV basketball isn’t a half-bad product either even though they have been insignificant the past several years.

Just the usual Oakland experience (shout out to MP Juiceman) . Harassed the entire game (expected). Beer thrown at me (expected). Chiefs were winning late in the game, and I realized that if I walked out of there after the final whistle, those people might actually kill me. So I gently began my way out with about 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. There must've been 10-15 different people who shoved me or tried to start a fight with me before I finally got out of there. One particularly drunk guy swung at me and had to be restrained by friends. I've had run-ins at other stadiums (Pats fans have been really bad), but this was an entirely different level of feeling unsafe.

I honestly thought wearing an Andre Rison jersey would've protected me, but nothing stops those people.

On the bright side, I wasn't forced to bear direct witness to our secondary's implosion firsthand. Silver linings in Oakland after all.

You can get in the building for like $16 right now.

Pretty much sit on the Chiefs bench for less than $100 too.

Couple that with the fact that we used SW points for the flight, and got an AirBnB near the stadium for $200 and this is going to be the cheapest away trip ever. Got my friend to hook it up with free Rock Hall tickets. It's going to be a good time.

Already have ticket, plane, and hotel in place for the Seattle game in December! Going with my brother who is a big 'Hawks fan. Should be fun (sitting about 8 rows up on the Chiefs side).
