So...this one is DEFINITELY on the run defense.

Just awful.

Our entire team identity is built around offense. We went 4-0 while scoring over 30 points a game. Cut 10 or 12 points off that average, and we're probably going to lose. Just like last week. Just like today.

Talk all you want about the run defense, yell at Spags all you want, but turning the ball over in the red zone at the end of the first half was literally the difference in the game. Still, though, we had the ball with a lead after an interception at the end of the 3rd/start of the 4th. But what did we do? 3 and out. And then Houston scores. Fine. We got another possession. Let's answer. Nope. Another 3 and out.

That's the game, right there. And that's the problem we've had basically all season long, that evidently nobody wants to talk about, or even acknowledge: our offense goes into the tank after halftime. Every single week.

This team was never gonna be the 85 bears. They're going to give up yards and points, especially when injuries are involved (anyone who doesn't want to sign Chris Jones, today was your window into 2020 without him...).

What they can't afford is for the offense to tank. We had opportunities to stay on top in the second half, and the offense failed every bit as much as the defense.

And what the **** is going on with special teams this year. Are we ever going to get a return past the 30? Or, you know, maybe have a return without a flag.

And that, too. 4-0 start, not many flags. Two losses, flags ****ing everywhere.

We got some coaching issues, and it ain't just the defense, the easy target.

Agreed. It's shocking how inconsistent the offense is. Seems like they only play well for one quarter every game, and then do nothing the rest.

Good post and you’re exactly right. It comes down to execution and the Chiefs aren’t doing it. We had our chances today and blew them just like last week.

You people are all ****ing crazy to blame the offense. Yep, had a turnover in the red zone. Shit happens on occassion. The defense, in particular the run defense is, consistently terrible. That is the a constant varriable with the Chiefs and that's the difference between winning and losing. Look at the T.O.P and see how much longer the Texans had the ball. Look how many rushing yards the Chiefs gave up again. Some of you are blind as ****.

Would have had at least 3 more had the officials not botched the call when Mahomes threw that interception. Apparently Kelce was the target and never got there.

Same as last week... turnovers on O, bad O-line play with a gimpy Mahomes, penalties and long drive defense. If we wouldn't have turned it over, we would have one despite all the warts we have right now...

The three weeks before this game teams had been averaging 180 yards against us in each game. Then came the Texans, with Carlos Hyde... they did it too. Bring on Phillip Lindsey and Royce Freeman!

Our run D wasn't good in the first place, and now we're missing Jones and Hitchens. I'm not sure what people expected.
