Isn't Reids philosophy that you need QB, OT's, DE's, and CB's to win. Star and Joeckel are the only players I'm concerned about being the pick instead of a QB. Star would bump Poe outside. |

That's not really comparable he drafted the ends to be pass rushers, different scheme etc etc.

It's going to be interesting to see how they approach it. D-linemen should be less of a focus in the draft for the 3-4 than for 4-3 teams, but on the flip side Reid has a history of devaluing the LB position, and focusing on the line. He's going to have to find a middle ground somewhere. I'd like to think that they're logical enough to know that they probably shouldn't be taking a 5-tech in the 1st round for the 5th time in 11 years. But this is the chiefs... |

Logic would say he'll invest in the OLB's since he values pass rushers but the MLB's and DL probably won't get that level of investment.

With the FO preaching about how they aren't going to reach and if by the end of the combine they still haven't locked in on a QB then I wouldn't be surprised to see the first pick be Star, bumping Poe outside, and going with a QB in the second or trading up into the bottom of the first. I think letting Albert go and drafting Joeckel would be reeruned and improve the team not one bit when you have the #1 pick. So I expect Albert to get a contract. |

otherwise, with a 4-3 Reid stocked up DE and DT and took whatever leftovers he could find in FA at LB |

They're already a 3-4 and have said they are keeping it. They already have two pro bowl OLBs.

The speculation of trade for Smith was out there, and we gave up premium picks for his mediocre ass. We didn't get a bunch of picks with him.

We called you stupid because it was and still is a stupid ****ing shitty idea. It was stupid when you suggested it and it's stupid now that Reid is apparently implementing it.

Since there's no late round flyer worth jack, it's going to have to be using the pick to stay in the top ten and picking up either Geno or Barkley. Or, we could just continue to suck donkey dick as a franchise, yes.
