when we got Smith I thought he fell somewhere between Trent Dilfer and Trent Green

after the Indy game, I thought..."yeah, he is probably Trent Green or a little better!"

Nope. He's more like Trent Dilfer. He just is. He's just super meh. It just kind of bores me. I'd rather have Geno if for nothing else that he's not nearly as boring.

Hate to say it...but if Kaepernick was white and didn't have any tattoos...I'd love to see what the perception of him on this board would be...I have a feeling it would be much different.

Prime time game threads on this website are hilarious

three weeks ago Philip Rivers was the worst QB ever against Arizona as he "choked the game away"

It's actually pretty entertaining. Shit, Clay just flushed a 2 year obsession down the toilet after 1 somewhat bad game by Geno.

The Refs handed that game to the Bears on a silver platter. The Jets won that game except for the timely penalties by the Refs to save the Bears.

I guess it is just Cutler's year to be given a super bowl.

I've watched the 49ers this season - They are not the same team as in the past two seasons. Sometimes the window is open for only so long.

Kaepernick is having a lot of trouble converting third downs. Not sure why Harbaugh moved away from the running game. They rely more on five-receiver sets -

It has been reported that the 49ers have been outscored 52-3 in the second half this season.

hey Kaepernick

you're a ****ing 49ers fan

go back to your shitty 49ers board and leave us the **** alone

no one likes you, no one cares about what you have to say, the Alex Smith trade happened over a year ago...

time for you to pass on by

speaking of which, has that Just Passin' By guy finally passed by? I mean, the Cassel trade happened an eternity ago and I think he's still parading around here somewhere

I watched the games. He ran great in 2 games but his passing
45-82 576 yards 3-3
A ill-advised pass late in Green Bay was inches away from a pick that would of given the game away.
A pass was so off in the Carolina game he was lucky to not have thrown an INT that would start the Panthers in the redzone.

And how about the 4th quarter from hell @ SEA Fumble Interception Interception

Right, just like the refs put on Kaepernick's jersey and turned the ball over 4 times against the Bears when the 49ers played them. Refs clearly lost this game for the Jets, they threw the pick six, a second INT, and couldn't exploit a secondary that was down to the last DBs on their roster.

I love these "almost INT" statistics...

I'd like for these to actually be statistics. I want to know who led the league in almost interceptions last year...

and I need an exact definition of what is considered an almost INT...

this needs to be a statistic...STAT!

Well, he threw the ball right into the hands of the DB and the guy dropped it. Would you say that was a good read and pass?

Kaepernick tried the same throw and mistake against the Seahawks a week later, that time the DB was good enough to hold onto the ball and picked it off.

It is. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/sta...rceptions-2013

I'm not making this play up.

Quote:
The play: Cornerback Micah Hyde's near interception of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in the fourth quarter.

Why it mattered: With the game tied at 20-20, the 49ers took over with 5:06 remaining. On second-and-10 from their own 31-yard line, 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin ran a short out route toward his own sideline. Hyde broke on the ball and undercut the route. He jumped for a ball that was thrown high, but it went through his hands and was incomplete. Hyde might have returned it for a touchdown. At the very least, he would have given the Packers the ball deep in 49ers’ territory. Six plays later, Kaepernick scrambled for 11 yards on third-and-8 from the Packers’ 38-yard line to set up the game-winning field goal as time expired.

Quotable: “It was a catch I should have made,” Hyde said. “I make those catches all of the time in practice. It was just a difficult catch I should have made.”
http://espn.go.com/blog/green-bay-pa...e-season-no-10

Did you watch this week's game? He nearly did it again to Cromartie who just missed the INT he got his hands on.
