Marcus Peters couldn't handle the KC fans huh?

Wonder how any player has ever survived in Philly.

That's even worse than I feared. I guess it balances out taking the Redskins to the woodshed for Alex Smith, but taken alone this pretty much removes any iota of hope that we have any halfway competent people anywhere in the front office.

Will this soon-to-50-year purgatory ever end?

Kap sucks, that's why he isn't playing. Peters is untouchable as he is a cancer on the team, at least the last two he has been on. We may not like it, but what we got is Fair market value. A 6th to a 4th, which could play out much better, and a 2nd next year in a much better draft.

There seriously isnt a single poster here who talks out of both sides of his mouth more than zilla

'This is all about Hunt and racist Chiefs fans!', yet we basically had to GIVE his ass away just to be rid of him... no one else wanted him, no one, not even Mr Hip Pete Carroll out there in liberal utopia Seattle, a team that happens to be hemorrhaging secondary talent

That sounds like cancer to me....

So if everything is cool between Reid and himself...why did they just give him away under the guise that no team would touch such a malcontent?

This deal reeks...

And the trash talk begins......

Alden Gonzalez

@Alden_Gonzalez
Marcus Peters was asked about facing Patrick Mahomes in Mexico City this season. "I'm expecting turnovers," he said, "and I'm expecting to win. ... He knows how to get me the ball." ... This could be fun.

Compare Kaep's last 6 games with SF to Garoppolo's. Also, compare Kaep with some of the QBs currently on a roster. A lot of trash out there. The whole he sucks or can't play argument was always bogus and went out the window a looonng time ago fella. He is good enough to start on some teams and good enough to backup pretty much anywhere.

But the bottom line is other teams likely knew Clark just wanted him gone and because of that we had absolutely no leverage. The Chiefs are a business, and demographics are important to a business. The Chiefs man demo is Midwestern, white, conservative, Christian, God and family type people. They already felt a slap in the face when their identifiable "face of the franchise" was traded away. So now some people say "They trade Smith but keep a punk like Peters on the team WTF!?!??!" I think this absolutely had something to do with the Peters move, coupled with Clark's personal feelings toward the man.

I know right! They are releasing Ron Parker too! They are getting rid of all the black players!

Well I mean Smith isn't black and Mahomes is half black and that doesn't fit the narrative but dammit its about the black players!

Demographics and shit!

Parker is getting cut because he is expensive and underperforming.

Alex Smith was heckled because fans hated his conservative style of play.

Gaines gets heckled because he isn't good at football.

Peters was heckled because some people don't like his political statement. One of these things has nothing whatsoever to do with football.
