Wade,
What up? Ive heard that Dillon has had off-the-field problems though. We are totally free from that crap now that Risons gone and it shows that it is not a distraction for us anymore. I think we will see a trade or a buy for a r/b next year! |

Unfortunately, there's no way we can aquire him until after the season; even then, we'll have to get into a bidding war to sign him, if Cinci doesn't franchise him.
Yeah, those anti-Dillon fans sure knew what they were talking about. Dillon can't break the long one. And if you heard him talk today, he credited his OL. And I thought he was a selfish satanist and all. |

I've always been a proponent of getting him, but I'm glad we kept the picks and got Morris and Wesley. Now hopefully we can pick him or someone up next year. Just give the ball to Kimble this year and let's go...

I agree, Wolf. Wesley and Morris are two of my favorite players. I would have loved to swing a deal involving our #1 next year, but Brown wasn't exactly taking offers. I have no regrets with not getting him (at the expense of Morris and Wesley), but I definitely would have LIKED to have gotten him. It was amazing to me how many people were dead against the idea.

With games like today, he is not going to come cheap, and for you Dillonites, remember, there is something called the salary cap. It is going to be hard enough to figure out how to keep what we have without adding another 6 to 8 million. Since he was playing the same time as the Chiefs, I didn't see anything but the highlights, but he was outstanding. However, he his already driving his price up, and out of the Chiefs range.

yes, the rookies are outstanding!!! I would never say we should have given up Morris or any of them for Dillon but...
We have got to have a player with Dillon's abilities on this team if we want to go all the way. Elvis is the man, but he CAN NOT do it by himself!!! I know we can not get him here this year and that being the case - pick one of the RB's on the roster - I could care less which one - and give him the ball all game long until he is puking like Faulk was today and then... GIVE IT TO HIM MORE!!!! ------------------ Wade |
