Baltimore looking to move up.

Ravens looking to move up… While most teams around the league appear to be far more interested in moving down in next week’s draft, Baltimore reportedly has their eyes on one of the top WRs and would be willing to move up from the 22nd spot overall to get their man. The Ravens are said to be particularly interested in Southern Cal WR Mike Williams, but would have to move up to close to the top 10 - at least – to get him. If Williams turns out to out of reach, Oklahoma WR Mark Clayton may be the Ravens’ fallback target at receiver; Clayton, though, is likely to go in the top 20 so Baltimore would still be forced to move up at least a few spots. Like just about every team in the league, though, the Ravens are leaving their options open and would also be willing to move down. And failing to get a top WR, they could look to upgrade at DE to smooth the transition to a 4-3 base defense. Indeed, the Ravens have had DE prospects David Pollack of Georgia, Matt Roth of Iowa and Oklahoma’s Dan Cody in for visits in recent days.

Chiefs could trade down 7 spots & pickup the Ravens 2nd round pick(53). It would be in the Chiefs favor by 100pts but the Chiefs could throw in one of their 5th round picks to even it up.

Yea you havent beein readin my posts, miami wants a first day pick and wont trade surtain unless they get one thats why i see the chiefs trading down.

Dont get me wrong DJ might be good, i might be missin things, but from what i saw of him i wasnt impressed, there are better linebackers out there, and i really think the best one in the draft is Kevin Burnett from Tennessee and he could be had in round 2.

So tradin down would allow us to pick up another 2nd or 3rd and we could use the 1st to get a corner that could be trained by surtain and still get a all-pro lb in the 2nd round.

this is very shaky Burnett is a backup LB in the pros, and why not DJ. He's not overhyped at the #9-#11 position, because if KC's going to the superbowl it has to be this year Shields is going to retire. None of this hit or miss stuff. I would take my chances on "the most NFL ready player that has come up in years". I read this on many many reviews , and what I've seen the kid is a dead ringer to Jack Ham and Jack Lambert

Be prepared to 'call' me on it a lot, then, because I don't give a shit about talking in a "civilized" fashion, especially at 1:30 am. That's just the way I talk. Or type. Or whatever the fuck you want to call it.

And I don't think anyone's done any namecalling. I simply said you're full of shit. Which you were. If you want to filter that to "full of crap" then go right ahead.

Whatever, everybody has there opinions. Another reason why i dont want DJ is cause he played under GROB for goodness sakes, his head is probably full of crap right now.

But we will still get surtain no matter what the cost and we all know this either that or we will get ty law. So I say move up instead of down cause instead of having an extra second lets get a good pick.

DT use to cover people while he was playing at Alabama. I'm making this comparison because both had the same playing style while in college. Derrick Brooks ain't too shaby either an all- world pro- bowler
