I'm in Columbia and there were sirens going off. Tornado touched down just south of my office, our entire operations center crammed downstairs. Nice way to get out of 1.5 hrs of work.

I'm getting ready for round 2 here in west Springfield.
North Springfield already has reports of baseball sized hail. 2 houses have been destroyed in a town just NE of Springfield. |

Two touched down in this area - one near Harvard, Illinois and one in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The one in Kenosha destroyed several homes and caused injuries. There is widespread wind damage all over the Chicago area.
Weird ass weather. There haven't been any tornadoes up here in January since 1950. |

Not affecting us up here in NW Missouri. It's okay. We'll probably catch a wicked ice storm tomorrow, and the tornadoes will find a way to migrate north for the weekend.
